Received some neat
<font color="orange"> orange </font> surprises recently. Al Gartzman is one of Gordy's good friends from Chicago. They used to run around together when Gordy had his S/S. I run into him occasionally and saw him a couple of weeks ago at the Pavillions as he lives out here now. He asked me if I had ever heard of these (see photo) and I told him I had seen them on vintage cars over the years occasionally. Al used to have a sweet '62 421 hipo Pontiac but got rid of it and asked me if I would want these for my '62. He bowled me over. What a decent gesture. He told me where these plates came from which I did not know. Anyone know what these plates were used for (I obviously don't get out enuff)?
