In looking through my literature I find a surprising lack of anything pertaining to the '69 model year.
The Brooklands Books compilation shown below has some great articles from Cars, Motor Trend, Car Life, Car and Driver, Road & Track and more. It has road tests on big block Chevelles from the Z16 through the LS6 but nothing at all on any '69. The only '69 in the entire book is on the cover.
I have some Motorbooks International Chevelle and Monte Carlo editions and could only find one cropped shot of the SS emblems on the front fender.
Do I smell conspiracy??
I did post a '69 427 article in the Baldwin Motion section a while back - if that's any help.
