In this day and age, many/most of the high dollar restos are "over restored" and generally that is the way many of the owners, enthusiasts enjoy seeing them. Most people enjoy seeing them the way they came off the end of the assy line, before the rust started...........
One method of preventing your manifolds from rusting is to have them coated with a thin "SKIN" of aluminum.
There are many companies around the country that do ALUMINUM FLAME SPRAYING. This in turn would be coated with VHT high temp cast blast to acheive the desired cosmetic look. This is not rocket science or one companys secret formula.
