Rest in peace Don....
At one point in the 90's he lived in Nellie Gail Ranch and lived right next door to a house that was built in the largest lot in Nellie Gail that was bought by the VP of the company that owned Magic Mountain (at that time).
My brother made all of the beveled glass and stained glass windows for that house...and I was able to talk to Don a few times
