Well -- it has been awhile since I looked at wiring on a non-HEI ignition ... but here goes.

There should be a smaller yellow wire that is connected to the + side of coil and connected to the starter solenoid -- provides 12V during crank.

The other + wire should be connected to the ignition switch -- this should be a resistance wire and it provides voltage while engine is running.

Sometime in its life there may have been a tachometer connected to the coil -- this may explain some of the extra wires.
