I agree with Steve, so many factors to weigh in. Clearly there has to be a deduct to the value for the original block being replaced, but could be offset by other items.
I just bought a 69 L71 Vette with a CE block but because everything else L71 was there I did not mind. Frankly, like the fact someone did not try and put a restamped block in the car.
