No, not poisonous. It’s a Texas Black Snake, or Rat Snake. It’s part of the Rat Snake family just like Jimmie the Weasel, Loose Lips Tony, and Twinkle Toes Tommy!

) but I ain’t stupid enough to get close to anything poisonous that bites!
Lot of big creepy crawlies out here for sure. Squished my first tiny tarantula and baby scorpion too. Bleh! Time to move
