Default Big Block Chevy Traco Ported Rectangular Port Closed Chamber Cylinder Heads

This is a pair of real deal TRACO ported cylinder heads for a Big Block Chevy engine. These heads are both casting number 3964291. They have rectangular intake ports and closed combustion chambers. Traco is known for building some of the most competitive engines for Trans Am and other racing series. A simple whisper of the name Traco in the right crowds will stop all other conversations in their tracks. These heads would be great for a nostalgic build or as display pieces.

These heads are in very good original condition as shown. These just came out of a long time collection and have been in cool, dry storage for decades. Both are stamped Traco with the same job number of "524" as shown. The heads are in bare cast iron finish and look amazing. The only flaw I see is a small crack on a valve cover rail as shown which could be simply sealed, brazed, or welded. All ports and chambers look great. All threads are in good condition with no helicoils or threads inserts. The deck surfaces are very thick so they have not been milled to death. Finding an original matched pair of TRACO heads is unheard of, especially in this awesome condition.

$2750

Thanks,

Jason
