Hi guys,
Car is now listed on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/203892086853
Brief history...the last owner purchased the car in 1978 while he was in high school in norther Illinois. Between 1978 and 1982, the car was transformed into the street machine you see in the photos. The incredible part is that the car remains untouched since 1982. The same tires are on it, the gauges still sit on the cowl behind the same L88 hood, and the Thrush mufflers sit just like they did in '82.
The car participated in the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in '82 and was featured in Andrew Morland's 1984 book, Street Machines. The owner had the car from 1978-2021. Also included in the photos below are some time slips, and Homecoming parade photos from 1980.
