The ripped out holes would be where the hanger for the transverse muffler was welded to the trunk pan. The rectangular plate on the side of the frame rail (on the right) was the reinforcement plate for the tailpipe hanger. The area to the left didn't have anything from the factory that I know of. Here's a couple of pics from my COPO. These items would have ben on any factory dual exhaust equipped car, not just COPO's.
Would love to hear more about your car, got any more info on it?
