Default 69 COPO Chevelle Roger D

Moved from members rides to Supercar Features

Purchased new August 19, 1969 from Bill Allen Chevrolet . . .
As soon as I read details in the Dick Harrell MSRP, I decided to buy it . . .
Copy of the original paperwork (saved originals in the bank box) . . .

I also saved the 12/12, 5/50 warranty brochure and original owner manual . . .

Traded it off in October, 1970 -searched for years trying to track it down . . .
Found this add on August 12, 2009 - look at the VIN . . .

Lots of work to do but it was my old Chevelle, originally 72 72 (Monaco Orange) paint code . . .

Our "first date car back in May of 1970, now it's home again . . .

Hidden VIN confirms it's my old Chevelle . . .

Chuck Hanson (ACES Pres) stopped by in September 2009 . . .

In March 2010, we were surprised to see that Chuck remembered our visit in his Chevelle World mag . . .

Lots of original Monaco Orange under that "refrigerator white" paint
Motor is built, ready for frame, body and paint work to begin . . .

August 2009 VS December 2010 2009 . . .

And finally completed and proudly showing it publicly (edited by Bruce to add photos!)
