There is no such thing as a “superfood.” Chia seeds, avocados, goji berries, kale and blueberries are among a list of foods that get credit for being “extra healthy.” The truth is that these foods do contain high amounts of nutrients, but they do not contain any super powers.
These foods have a role in a balanced diet but none of them are going to save you. In fact, if you eat some of these foods in consistently in large quantities, it might result in some undesired effects.
