The 6 lug convertor was used with all the L78, L72 and LS6 applications...and the other 427's [L88, L71, ZL1]. It was also used with the hi-perf small block applications like the 70 deuce and the LT1 Z28 and Vette.

I did some research a few years back and learned these 6 lug units were also used in some HD commercial applications and a foreign car that used the TH400.

I'm not sure what, if any, different stall speeds were selected.

Last time I checked a few parts sources there was still a few of these floating around.
