CHUCK -I am not sure where the car was prior to being restored or presented here, the owner restorer was said to live in the CHAPIN SC area.

When I was contacted about the car I asked a few questions and I was told the owner/restorer was a older gentleman who was into Impalas or Chevy II's and this was the only Camaro he restored or owned. They said the car had a L78 engine but the owner did not know if the car originally came with a L78, but thought for sure it was a real pacer and might have been a 350 (hp?)- (I believe he thought it was a L34 which was not offered in 67).
TOM MACK did not want to misrepresent the car, more or less they wanted someone to tell them if it was a pacer, the fact that the car is a REAL L78 pacer was something they did not expect.
HONESTLY I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED when I saw the tags and realized it was real.
