Same here. Never bolted them down and I'm able to move them around easily with the supplied dollies.

I like the Atlas Garage Pro 8000 EXT sold by Greg Smith that are extra tall and I use mine mostly for parking / storage. Hard to beat the price and they seem to be well made and I have not experienced any issues with 3 that I have bought. You used to be able to get them on sale for around $2500 including drip pans, ramps, and dollies. Greg Smith was bought out and I think they are now about $3,500. The real key is having a reasonably level floor and ensuring the cables are adjust properly during assembly so that the car is lifted and stored level.

There are certainly more expensive commercial type lifts available versus hobbyist type that are beefier if you're concerned.
