He has owned it for 24 years and had taken it all apart to do a restoration in a tiny garage and had NO idea how to put it all back together. I put this back on the road for him, 4 years ago and he was so ashamed to tell me, I didn't know about this for 6 months. I finally cornered him at a club meeting in March and got the story. It has been sitting at a shop that doesn't have the ability to repair the damage, so was looking for a clean body shell to replace his with. I picked it up today and will get it repaired where I work. We do wrecks way worse than this all the time.
He spun out and tagged both ends.
Looks worse than it is. There was a lot of rust in the wheel house and it blew up instead of passing more of the energy forward. The door pillar will need to be pulled back where it belongs, but it is doable.
