Build a swivel knuckle for the front mount. Mine hang 3 inches lower in the front, creating a much better working angle for the bars to do what they're supposed to. Doesn't bind since they allow the rear to move in an arc which is what gm designed. If you install a stiff leg to the rear, you're creating 2 forces fighting each other, hence the stiff rear. Hard to believe anyone ran these on the street back in the day without ripping something apart. As valuable as a good 12 bolt is today, it's just not smart.
