To some people, nothing is too far gone. But, chances are, they have never attempted to rebuild a total rust bomb like this. IF it was a rare/limited production/highly optioned car, it would, most likely, be a "rebody", which I believe is what the seller is actually selling.
I don't see any evidence of a rear axle under it either. There are dollies around that clamp to the rocker pinchweld to facilitate rolling it onto a trailer/truck. Pulling it loose from Mother Earth's grasp would be an interesting undertaking...and yes, I have done stuff like that. It's the challenge that is the motivation. Go ahead, tell me there's no way I can do that...
