Not only didn't Chrysler use solid cams for their performance engines (Street Hemi started with a solid then changed over to a hydralic) they also didn't use high compression (1967 - 1970).

340 and 340+6 = 10.5:1
383 Magnum = 10.0:1 (lowered to 9.5:1 in 1970)
440 Magnum = 10.1:1 (lowered to 9.7:1 in 1970)
440+6 = 10.5:1
426 Hemi = 10.25:1
