Barrett-Jackson Gala
We went to the opening night Gala. Ran into Charley (no velcro this year?
 ), Colin and Cana and Dave Christenholz. Also talked with Dave and Nancy Oscher and Bob A.  (I used Holly's camera )Here are just a few pics. We didn't stay that long... Gate Job Funny Car

Chev Connection L78 Camaro...
  The area outside the main tent was WET...and the cars below were covered...for the most part...so no pics from down there I should get quite a few pictures today!

Gate Job was from my home town of Wayne MI.Pete Gates was the son of the owner of the towns main furniture store. He usually got what he wanted so he bought the funny car from Dyno Don. Dyno spent alot of time in Wayne trying to help with the car but Pete never got the car to run up to its capability. Always wondered what happened to that car. Ron....
