68 429 SCJ complete motor
I recently met a gentlemen that claims he has a 68 429 SCJ motor complete from air cleaner to oil pan sitting in the corner of the garage he's looking to sell. First I was wondering where could I find the numbers on this motor to verify it is what he says it is. Would there be anything special to look for standing there looking at the motor. Claims the motor has less then 20,000 miles on it. Lastly, what's the motor worth, he's asking $5000. I'm not a ford guy so I would be simply buying to resell to get this beast to someone that could possibly put it in there Super Cobra jet body. Any info would be greatly appreciated and thanks.
