Default crushed glass blasting for paint removal

Seeing if anybody has any experience with water based crushed glass blasting for paint removal.? Hear it is better than the more abrasive media's, but not as good as plastic media (which I cannot find anybody on long island doing plastic) Any experiences (+ or -) appreciated.

theres a company in my industrial complex that uses glass with water..its a chain called enviro-blast...impressive...they treat it with chemicals that prevent rust for 48 or 7 days...

not enviro friendly as they say..now the lead is suspended in water and goes right down the drain...

the finish is really impressive...its aggressive but the water knocks the damage and warpage factor down....

Sully, I am waiting for a guy to open his shop in new Hyde park. He was working out of a body shop in franklin square and is opening his own place. It was supposed to go there this week, but have you looked out the window today? Not sure if it will go, but I will keep you advised. In good weather he says he will be mobile.

Thx to all who replied so far, I know about Lowman has been around for a long time, don't know if he really does plastic media, has always been a heavy industrial sand/alum oxide blaster. Buddy, interested to see if your contact opens a blasting shop, please keep me informed if that happens. If he does plastic or crushed glass, definitely interested. Mark, do you have a website for the contact you mentioned,? curious on that one. Thx again SULLY

Look up dry ice blasting. Expensive but worth it.
