Default COOL WHEEL AND TIRE COMBO

I was at a local swap meet this past weekend and found this wheel and tire combo. It was the only one the seller had. I have never seen a Uniroyal Tire like this before. Upon researching the tire I found it may be 1967 vintage. It is in excellent shape. The wheel is vintage also and the seller said the bolt pattern was GM.. I bought it very reasonably and bought it as a conversation piece for my car room. I just happened to have a Uniroyal Metal Tire Display Stand for it that was empty... In my opinion I think this was one of the coolest items at the swap meet... By buddy, Woj, actually found it first and directed me to it..

Rich

Nice display item. I recall Uniroyal print advertising with that style of tire from the 60's.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the manufacturer of the "PS" center cap/wheel. I know I have seen it before but can't remember who made these.. I was thinking it was JC Penny but not sure..

Very cool Rich. I did some research and it appears P/S is Performance Specialties in Arcadia, CA.

I have 4 of those tires NOS. G70-14 that I'm waiting for the right car to put them on. Whenever someone sees them in my garage they try to by them from me

I've had this local add running for a while. I have a pair of these slightly different Uniroyal Tiger Paws with a similar dashed line that I've been trying to match and make a set for my 1966 Beaumont SD.

Very cool Rich. I like it! BTW, there is a troll or some such dude hiding out inside your Keystone Light display. Be careful!
