Default RPM rust preventer

Has anyone used the RPM rust preventer paste? good ,bad, ok??? thanks

I started using it 2 or 3 years ago and had it do some weird things. I think it melted off the master cylinder on my gtx and had places trying to rust. I put it on heavy too. Not sold on it. It looks like carnauba wax
