1968 camaro Z28 -- special paint Help identify this color

Picked this car up a couple months ago. It came out of an estate sale in southern California. It has the -- paint code it looks like it is a darker yellow A friend said they call it competition orange another friend said he thinks it is dark yellow. Any ideas has anyone ever seen this color on a 68 Camaro. Could be the only 68 z this color. Very solid California car. The car has had 1 repaint and you can see the original color in the jambs ect.
