Re: Does anyone know how many L-79 65 ElCamino's were
Randy,
The total Chevelle line production of L-79s (which includes ElCamino) was 6,021. I have no breakdown for El Caminos by themselves. And I don't believe option totals for "bundled" options are available. I could only guess that the El Camino with that engine would be ~10% of that number, and much less with A/C. Verne |

Re: Does anyone know how many L-79 65 ElCamino's were
I had a 300 hp 1965 El Camino and truly only saw one real L79 powered one.. in the 20 some years I owned it.. Id say a whole lot less then 10%.. There was a mint on on ebay for th elongest time and he could not get $35k for it and it was VERY nice.. I do not believe that the L79's came with ac either..
