I have a similar 1970 Chevrolet picture catalog showing certain small hardware they used back then.
It was in a Partsman binder. |

if you get an actual dealership copy of a parts manual, there is a fastener catalog with descriptions and numbers..ive only seen one in real life..most dealerships just didnt put them in the counter books..they are green or yellow sheets and are a supplement ,and when they come up on ebay, they usually are gone instantly
they where updated yearly too...then they just didnt use them, ive seen them in 69 and 70 year manuals

It was called "Standard Parts" And it functioned as a fastener guide for the parts departments. I have a copy of one.

Here's one of them I have from 1970 titled Maintenance Products & Standard Stock.
It has 125 pages and has GM of Canada on it. I've got another similar one that was issued in the US. Last edited by Mr70; 12-14-2018 at 11:47 PM. Reason: US/Canadian version |

Just looked at re-print online, unfortunately doesn't tell specifics like where they go on the car or what car they were used in, thus pretty much useless.

no, theres another supplement..its part of the catalog, it has its own section..it calls out bolts specifically and even has lengths and head markings...ask member Enoch...i believe he even commented on it in the past
I dont know for sure...i just put it together he has or has access to one...he's the only guy i know that has been able to ID bolts so well.. also original not-updated parts manuals have many bolts IDd..like year to year orig stuff, not reprint or updated stuff..it just didnt get into the updated parts manuals..and all the parts hounds i know, keep that stuff, because its so hard to get

Why doesn’t somebody scan one and distribute it? The copy writes are expired by now.
