Big bucks for a backup light switch
I guess when you need it, you need it. I thought the repros were pretty close?

Wasn't that long ago that these were in the $200-250 range.

Sold for $500. If they make it up to $1,000 someone will have a cheap off shore crappy one made as a repro and call it "exact reproduction assembly line correct".

Yep, and they will probably make it so it's "not quite correct" and force any buyers to either modify it to work or waste a bunch of time and effort arguing with the seller and/or manufacturer, to no avail......just like I recently had to do with the repro fuel sending unit I bought.
