Default Federal Mogul 143 replacement cam

I have a new Federal Mogul L78-LS6 replacement cam. Anyone hear anything good or bad about using this in a rebuild? I just want to know if this is a good quality stick and not some of the junk that has been around for a few years that had lobe problems due to inferior (Chinese?) castings. Only need replies concerning quality, known issues, and not if it is a good grind to run. Stock rebuild.

Hopefully still made in USA. Should say on the box somewhere.
JohnZ encouraged me to buy a FM LT1 camshaft for a 350 build a few years ago. FM also made the correct valve springs. Use the springs that Federal Mogul says go with the cam. I BELIEVE John told me if you went to a GM dealer and got the valve springs for an LT1, they would be reboxed FM springs. I bought both through RockAuto at a great price.

My camshaft has performed flawlessly, even though the car has sat way too long a couple of times. I run 1/2 bottle of GM EOS with each oil change. When I checked the valve lash at 1000 miles none needed ANY adjustment.

The only sure way to check is to get one and degree every lobe and check for accuracy.
I personally would go with the Crane. They are optimized.

What about the Comp Cam LS-6 Nostalgia or Nostalgia + ... or is that too far off center for the dyed in the wool crowd? TAZ
