Default Red Alert gets some air.

Sunday MoKan raceway near the Missouri/Kansas line was having an AHRA nostalgia drag race, with Red Alert as one of the feature cars. While there I thought I would do a little TNT, as I had put on a new set up rear shocks to see if I could get her to hook a little better. Looks like it worked.

Outstanding!!!

I have always wanted to run at Mo-Kan as that would have been my home track growing up. I was always too afraid to run over there and break my stuff and not have a way home!!

Nostalgia meet at Mo-Kan-- sounds kind of redundant!!

Yep.I got a lot of comments of about how neat it was to watch her launch, twisting and such.

So now I need to decide if I want to calm her down a tad for best ETs, or just let her do her own thing and see what happens.

In the SuperStock class I made it to round three, which put me in the final 16 out of 64 cars, then losing by a nose.

BTW, Did I say I had a good time.

-----Airtime!!!Yeah!!! It just keeps getting better, Tom. You are looking good. If that picture caught you at the top you wont notice much of an ET drop buy taming things down further. And, in any event, its too much fun, almost addictive, catching air. I loved that as much or more than good #s........Bill S

Great pic. Love seeing the front wheels hangin'.
Like Bill said, it is kind of addicting and more fun than running the numbers.
