Default 68 L78 Camaro 18G133408

I recently acquired a Muncie M22 with the following info 18G133408 dated P8H21. Metal tag is 3925626 1968 L78 Camaro. Is this vin number for Camaro or is the metal tag wrong. This is an attempt to reunite car and transmission. Thank you.

The letter 'G' in the CON VIN indicates Framingham, MA assembly plant....in 68 they produced Chevelles there.
