Is the last "1" for 1st Shift or a plant location and S is saginaw???????

In 67 and 68 the # 1 or # 2 was used and only in 69 was #1 used for 1st shift.. and yes "s" is Saginaw.

Didn't the "S" designate it as being for Chevrolet?
I've seen others with different ending letters and thought they were to designate a different application. ![]() |
