Here is one that Bruce posted from the Member's Rides a few months ago from the very first Opening Day at what is now Byron Dragway in 1964. The blue 62 Impala you see in many of the shots is our 409 car.

While a lot of the music dubbed in tends to spoil drag racing videos, the Ventures music fits right in here. The Shadows played a lot of the same stuff. This is a well done video. It really catches the spirit of the day.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
