Default A muscle car guy passes

Journalist Paul Zazarine left this world this morning, from what I was told. I know he was deep into Corvettes so some here may be familiar with him. Me? I know him as a Pontiac guy and former editor of Musclecar Review.

Man, that really is a downer. He was involved with GTO's and Musclecar magazines for what seemed like forever. A real car enthusiast. RIP

I just learned of his passing on the Performanceyears website. This is quite a shock. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor.

I worked with Paul at Dobbs Publishing from 1990 to 1994 when he was editor of Corvette Fever and I was managing editor of Mopar Muscle and tech editor for Musclecar Review. I started dating his editorial assistant back in 91. I remember him giving me the sage advice: "Be nice to her or I'll kill you, kid". She and I have been married for 17 years now...and it's all Paul's fault. He was a heck of a matchmaker.

RIP big guy!

Wow..a shocker indeed. talked to him on the phone a few years ago, he was selling a car for his dad, about halfway through the conversation I asked if he was the musclecar writer and when he confirmed we continued with a great conversation about various cars.
Hellofa nice guy...he will be misssed.

The man was prolific and really seemed to be passionate about muscle cars. Rest in Peace Paul.
