Default Question about '69 Yenko Camaro Headers

I'm sure that one of the experts on this site will know the answer. When headers were added to a Yenko Camaro at the dealership, was the smog system removed, left unhooked, or plumbed back into the headers? Just curious as I've never seen a survivor with dealership installed headers. thanks!

I believe that I've seem somewhere in the Yenko literature that headers were "for track use only" - which leads me to believe that he unhooked the smog system. Today - Thorley headers are available with or without smog fittings.

I don't know Yenkos process, but Kevin Dewitte's Berger COPO was delivered to Kevin with smog fittings on his headers.

According to THE DEFINITIVE 1969 CAMARO Z/28-SS396 FACT BOOK by Jerry MacNeish. No Yenko Camaro was delveried to a dealer with either Traction Bars, Exhaust Headers or Blow-Proof Bell Housings as part of their conversion.

I know, but Yenko advertised "aftermarket gauges, headers, shifters, and Atlas wheels as extra cost options"?????
