Are they the same as a 69 Camaro?

I can tell you that the ones the parts houses (ALL OF THEM) sell for 69 Camaros are too tall.

I have a rant on this with lots of pics. I spent about 6 mos trying to get the right size so my molding wouldn't stick up too high.

I did come up with the right size for my 69 Camaro, but have no idea if Chevelle is the same. Do you have some of your old ones? If so, post some pics. Will be glad to share with you what I found. Got a box of 50 for 8 bucks from a shop supply warehouse, as opposed to the approx $1 each from the resto supply guys.

Look at the last post here:

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthrea...y_lo#Post513169

Note that James had an early build car with blue clips in front and yellow in back. All of mine were the yellow ones. I don't know that the color designated a different size.

The ones I got for $8.85 (sorry, missed it by 85 cents) were the same size as my yellow ones.

Lynn, I found the clips I need.
also found out that Camaro clips are shorter then Chevelle clips.

Donnie,

I just put the clips and trim on my 69 300 deluxe. I ended up using the red/oxide rectangular ones on the back glass, the same on the A pillars for the front glass and finally, white square clips for the top of windshield. Someone on Team Chevelle said that the top of the clip should be just about even with the surrounding sheet metal. I found that to be true.

Then the red oxide ones will probably work fine for you. I have a bunch left over (I think) that you can have for free if you want them. They are all good quality clips; just too tall for my Camaro.

PM me if interested.
