Default Racing the Deuce

After winning the 2012 Super-Pro Championship at Newport, and in line to repeat as SP champ again this year, the last couple of weeks not doing so well. It was not the Deuce, just me. Yesterday I was able to settle down and get back on track. First round of elims I was recognized as having a "perfect pass", running a 6.68 on a 6.68 dial and a perfect .500 light. Next round opponent red light, the Deuce was getting quicker with with a 6.64. In the semis had a .505 light with a 6.65. In the finals I gave the race away with a red light as I entered a wrong number in my box. Not all bad though, as the Deuce laid down a nice 6.32 on a 6.32 dial. Amazing how a good day at the track makes going back to work not so bad.

BTW, disregard the date. Should read Sept. 22, 2013.

A perfect pass - unbelievable!

Congratulations on that.

I've been racing for 35 years and have had one (maybe two) perfect lights, and a few dead on runs - but never on the same pass.

Congrats again; that's definitely a big deal!

Faster then my old Deuce back at Assmption in Illinois -- my best was a 12.94 with 7" cheater slicks ... all stock except for headers. Still fun as hell!!!
