I have a set of Feb and Mar 69 dated 842 heads which have no pipe plugs installed on either end of the casting. I have read that the late L89 heads had only one plug per head, but these have none. These heads are totally untouched and are the nicest originals I have ever seen. I was just curious if this was a less common variant that occurred later in the year. If it helps, the car they came off is dated 1st week of July.
