I have a 69Z temp sender for console gauges car....how can I test the sending unit out of the car?
I don't know if it works and before we install the engine, I was either going to buy an NOS one or test the one I have to see if it works properly. This one has the screw on nut end point where the wire secures to the sending unit. I looked for stamping on the sending unit to see if it was orig but I don't see anything. Appreciate the advise.

Not sure if this will help you but Steve covered this in length a while back.
