I'm considering making a deal to purchase a collection of cars and included in the collection is a 1969 Yenko Chevelle. The COPO Serial Number is 133379A306087 which didn't appear on the list posted in this forum. All of those cars had a "B" and not "A" in their COPO Serial Number. I'd like to verify the car and history if possible. Any help is appreciated.

![]() The A is for the Atlanta Georgia assy. plant and B for Baltimore. Looks like there may be more of a problem as isn't the VIN you've posted for a 6-Cyl car? ~ Pete

![]() Regardless of build plant and last 6 of the VIN, 133379 indicates a '69 six-banger coupe. Best check the VIN again and get the Trim Tag info too also pics of them! ~ Pete

I will post picture this evening. I should have decoded the VIN before even posting this. It looks like all the Yenk Chevelle's were assembled in the Baltimore Plant too.

I hope he wasn't trying to pass it off as real. Now you should check all of the other cars he wants to sell you!

And not to be a smartazz, but honest cars are often available from some members here for waaay less than auctions or the open market...best just bring your cash to Yenko.net! Just to note too, Copo Chevelles weren't only Baltimore built. Roger's Dick Harrell prepped car is one great example of a genuine Kansas/Leeds built car, click here... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...opics/385625/1 ~ Pete
