As you state,it's clearly a common low horse 335HP application,behind an LE coded Impala series block.
Assembled November 20th,1969.
No '69 camaro or corvette got a 335HP engine that I'm aware of.
As for the COPO reference,possibly a 335HP LJ coded Police Impala series,but that's it.

Regardless of the tag code...it could be a great core for a performance build if you want a TH400. You don't see a lot of these trannys for sale anymore.

Since so many folks are building cars with over drive trannys, the TH400 is a little bit of a dinosaur. But, they are stronger than most all the other ones in stock form...with the proper upgrades they are bullet proof. I love feeling the upshift at around 6400rpm in our L78 car [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/burnout.gif[/img]
