The newest drag racer gears up!

We (I) 've been talking about racing Jr Dragsters with the kids since Benjamin was born (almost). Well, Benjamin turned 8 last September, and it looks like we're going to make good on that plan. We picked up a Jr for him this past weekend, a complete t/k operation from a family who's son is moving into a door car. The package came with everything one might need, even a spare engine, carb, fuel jugs, starter, dolly, warm up stand, the list goes .....

Both engines are 8.90 versions, so rather than slow one down we'll slap a 12.90 version on for the NHRA tracks - but might run the faster version at the IHRA tracks. Benjamin is quite excited, and can't wait to race. But first we will go through some training sessions at a friends facility, along with him and his son who are also just starting out with a Jr. We'll use/do all the things that the Morroco's told us about.

Should be a boatload of fun this year! Here's a few pics.

Plenty of headroom for him to grow. The car is a 2002 HalfScale with a semi-laydown seat. Powdercoated molly frame, one piece glass body with custom paint, shock rear that is now a hard tail, Blockzilla, Polar primary, Gaged secondary, 2 weight tanks, belts in date, adj pedals, ....

so you bought the car with 2 motors that was on jrdragsterplus !! that was a smokin deal ! 2 8.90 motors alone were worth the price !
if you have any questions feel free to ask, although you found the premier Jr. site. just like here , a wealth of knowledge to be gained.
i can tell by the look on Benjamins face, that you'll be at the track alot. one time down and say goodbye to all your free time ! Congrats to Benjamin !! you guys will have a blast !
