My boss has asked me to provide him with a field service related safety tip each week so he can distribute it to our service team.
I am having a difficult time coming up with a new tip each week and was wondering if anyone knew of a website, or service, that sends out daily / weekly field service related safety tips that I could sign up to receive. Thanks |

Dave, Here's two that we use. Our field is manufacturing.
http://www.toolboxtopics.com/ (a bit dated) http://safetytoolboxtopics.com/Toolbox-Talks/ (good for ideas) I have a spread sheet of our weekly topics going back three years I can send you, if you are interested.... BIG |

The company I work for makes, distributes and services Gaming equipment (slot machines, electronic table games; etc.) as well as runs, and services, state lotteries.
Our field technicians deal with lifting large cumbersome slot machines, slot machine components, overhead signs. The Lottery techs aren't usually lifting heavy equipment, although they do place large scratch off ticket machines on occasion. Some of the Lottery techs deal with heights and working on ladders when they have to install, or service, the satellite dishes on a retailer's roof. Both Gaming and Lottery technicians spend a fair amount of time behind the wheel of their service vans so driver safety is very important. |
