Not only does that tag not belong on this early of a car, it looks like a repop tag to me.
Sorry, don't know the car 124379N504337 NOR360853 712 71 71 07A X33

Are those screws? Thought it was reflection off the rivets without seam sealer.

Good thing i saw this, a friend of mine was going to buy this car. The seller told him that the motor and trans came out of his friends Z28. Judging by the info you guys provided im thinking the trim tag came from his friends Z as well. I feel sorry for the winning bidder

"I feel sorry for the winning bidder"........very true, just think how lucky the second highest bidder is.

Definitely a repop tag. An 07A tag would have D80 on it.

Buddy </div></div> Per CRG: "Additional 1969 Norwood Fisher codes that could be combined with the X-codes include: D80 - signifies the car was equipped with D80 spoilers, but the code was not always used." Not sure if there was a specific range of build dates that D80 wasn't always coded on, but wouldn't determine real/fake just on the basis of D80 alone (aside from an obviously too early build date).

I'm pretty sure its a repop tag. If you know 69 Camaro cowl tags and their anomalies, you would know what I'm talking about.
