Kil-Kare track rental Friday May 13th!

Next Friday (May 13th), Doug Perry is renting the drag strip at Kil-Kare in Xenia Ohio for the day. This will be a private rental and the track will only be open to those who sign up to run, but anyone can come out to watch. The gates will open @ 11:00 and the track goes hot from 12:00-5:00.

There is a cut-off of 30 cars, and we are currently looking for roughly 10 more racers who want to attend. Doing the math, there should be no problem with getting in at least 12-15 passes, possibly more depending on how quickly you can get your car back to the lanes after a pass. When you consider you'll be lucky to get 4-5 passes in on a regular test & tune night, this is an excellent deal!

The cost will be $100.00 per car. PLEASE NOTE!!! This is a "NO backing out" deal--the cost MUST BE paid up-front and if you commit to run and can't make it you will NOT get your fee back, so if you commit, make SURE you'll be able to attend. The only exception to this will be due to weather.

Doug had to pull the plug on this event. Simply put, we couldn't get enough cars lined up to cover the cost of the track rental. FWIW, the track rental was $3K, which dictated the $100.00 per car cover cost for 30 cars. As the car count stood for today, Doug would've had to cover about 1/3 of the rental fee himself.
