I would like to know the right head gasket to use on my yenko 427 engine what is the gm part number? I have seen different gaskets for sale on e-bay all say they will fit a zl1 block .I have the early 69 yenko block 3946053 please help thanks for looking Camaro ken

Ken, any BBc head gasket should work, just need more the bore size? I would use Felpro 17046 gasket for that myself. On my ZL-1 I used COMETICS for my use.
Also, check out my thread about ZL-1 blocks: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=142759 FYI if yours IS a "Yenko" block, that would seem to indicate it's a 1976 or later block. Then the "053" seem to be from the mid 1980's era as per the guys on the thread. Good luck, John
