First, thanks again for the outstanding help on this car that needs major mechanical and cosmetic attention to get up to speed.
Bought the convertible boot cover from Classic Industries and is an excellent item. The boot will not fit however because the frame will not lower enough. I was thinking the frame should lower to the level of the convertible well molding so the boot doesn't have to be stretched until the vinyl fails? I was planning on lubricating all the hinges to solve that issue. Any other suggestions or comments please. Regarding the glove box I am installing also from Classic Industries. Please see the attached pic from the assembly manual. I don't see any brace or support to keep the glove box horizontal. Does the box remain secured enough with just the screws that screw into the glove box door frame? Thanks in advance. Jar Head Jim

Just the screws hold it does not have a brace. My conv top does not go all the way down either have to let the boot sit in the sun for a while to get it clipped
