Default Prop Valve Brkt Correct Finish

I sent my booster out to booster dewy along with the prop valve brkt, the brkt was all rusty. I had the same cad finish applied, it was an extra $15 or something. Are they just raw steel? Black? Cad? (GM 1978, F body)
If diff, can a Eastwood paint replicate correct finish or what?
Thanks

I also had my OG master rebuilt, it came back all bead blasted, I painted it cast steel, I've been told black is correct, not sure.
