Default 1970 Camaro - Master Cylinder "EB" Stamp Check

Thoughts on this "EB" stamp for a 1970 Camaro? Factory stamp, or??

Doesn’t look right to me either! I’ll have to find a pic of my original 70 master cylinder.

Thanks for the posts and pics. The image with the 14 1 stamped on the machined surface is the only one that has similar fonts (The horizontal bars on the "E" are not equal between top/bottom and middle and the "B" is wider).

It appears the one I posted was lightly struck, but as others have posted, it looks quite questionable. My biggest concern is it appears the "E" and "B" were struck separately and not on a gang stamp holder.

Overlayed the one image provided by Chuck with the stamp picture I received - scaled the pics to the machined boss surface first, then rotated and aligned - fonts seem similar, but clearly the "B" is offset.
