Looks like a grizzly bear got trapped inside the interior and was trying to get out.

I remember seeing a low mile, pampered 442 in this same color combo on the Buick used car lot in Santa Barbara circa 1976-77. Man, that car was gorgeous. Too bad this one has fallen on hard times.
